The service
Ships.com.ua is free and needs no account. It shows a live map of ship positions from AIS data, plus guides to tracking ships.
For information only
The map and vessel data come from VesselFinder and from the AIS signals ships transmit themselves. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and a ship may not appear at all. Don't use the site for navigation, collision avoidance or any decision where safety, money or legal rights are at stake.
The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or close any part of it at any time.
Other services and links
The map belongs to VesselFinder and the MMSI search to the ITU; their own terms apply to them. Links to other sites are there for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content. We don't store ship positions and can't remove a ship from the map or hide it; see the contact page.
Fair use
Please don't overload the site, scrape it in bulk, try to break into it or use it for anything illegal.
Our content
The texts and design of Ships.com.ua are ours unless a page says otherwise: some map page descriptions are based on Wikipedia and are available under the licence stated on that page. You may quote short passages of our texts with a link to the source page; for anything more, ask us first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or relying on its data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. They don't limit the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
